About me
I am a commercial legal adviser who acts for a wide range of clients, companies and individuals.
I specialise in ensuring that all of my clients wherever they are based, receive the right advice and support so that they get the best out of their people. I advise on specific employment related issues such as dismissal, investigations, employee claims, restructurings and discrimination. I also act for clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings and appeals to the Employment Appeals Tribunal.
I have experience of undertaking employment work in different jurisdictions, having managed redundancies, settlement and dismissals in China, Germany, France, USA and Ireland.
I regularly represent senior executives protecting their interests where difficult circumstances lead to their exit from the business. I rigorously defend my client’s interests to ensure that they receive a fair deal whilst always being open to pragmatic and commercial resolutions.
I am an ILM accredited tutor and have delivered ILM accredited employment law courses as an Associate Tutor at the University of York. I am also an Associate Lecturer at the University of Derby and the co- author of the Derby University GDPR on line course for data protection officers.
